“Kasa Casa” is a 2 story, 2 bedroom, 1 & 1/2 bath house located at High Hope Ranch. NEW! Cowboy Pool- 8’ pool in the backyard recently installed and a great way to cool off! The first floor features a full-size kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, sitting area with an indoor atrium, half bath, and laundry room with infra-red sauna. Both bedrooms are located upstairs. Escape to High Hope Ranch, a peaceful 1,000-acre sanctuary at the top of the Texas Hill Country in Glen Rose. Whether you’re here to unwind in nature or enjoy unique ranch experiences, there’s something for everyone. Explore over 20 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, visit with friendly goats and pigs, and take in the wide-open views and quiet charm of this working ranch. During your stay, you can also: Play a round on our brand-new 9-hole disc golf course, Warbler Trails, designed to wind through the scenic landscape. Don’t have discs? No problem — we have them available at the Farm Store. Stroll through our seasonal You Pick 'Em Flower Garden, bursting with colorful blooms all summer long. Other Details to Note

Livestock (including cattle, chickens, pigs, goats, ranch dogs Rosie and Popeye, and the guard donkey, Zoey) roam the ranch. We ask kindly that you not approach the cattle or chickens, but the rest are all very keen on head scratches and pets! The dogs may jump or bark at first but are friendly and will return to their duties after a brief hello. Chances are you'll see deer, armadillos, and lots of wild birds. We sometimes see other native wildlife such as quail, turkey, coyote, feral hogs, foxes, and bobcats. There have been some rare sightings of mountain lions in the past but as long as you are aware and prepared it’s nothing to worry about. Lastly, we are in the Texas hill country where rattle snakes and copperheads live. They are easy to avoid as long as you are aware. If spotted up by a house, please contact the host so that we can safely remove them for you!

House Rules

As a wildlife sanctuary we ask that you respect quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All guests must sign a risk release form before or upon arrival. Our houses are all non smoking, however we have ashtrays outside on the patios. If you are a smoker please do so outside and dispose of your butts in the ashtrays!

Neighborhood

High Hope Ranch is located south west of the small town Glen Rose. We are in the country with miles in-between us and our neighbors, one of which happens to be Fossil Rim Safari Park. It's secluded enough here to be able to see the Milky Way at night but close enough to town that you can grab the essentials in 15 or so minutes. There are a few residents who live and work on the ranch you may bump into but if you are seeking total privacy you can easily achieve that as well.

Guest Access

Kasa Casa is within High Hope Ranch, a 900-acre ranch that shares a fence line with Fossil Rim Wildlife Center. Kasa is the closest guest house to this fence line and guests may be lucky enough to spot Red Deer, Giraffes, Aoudad and more wildlife! Guests have access to all 900 acres of the ranch including landmarks like the Stone Circle, Star Pad, Goat Cave, Sunset Cliff, and are of course welcome to arrange a tour of the gardens and on site Farm Store. This house is located next a nice spacious building we call the 'Studio'. Guests are also welcome to rent the studio for their private use. Other guests have used the Studio for birthday parties, weddings, reunions, receptions, and more. The ranch itself has over 20 miles of hiking trails from easy to strenuous effort. We offer petting zoo style goat feedings where guests can feed, pet, and learn more about the livestock on ranch. Retreat space, wedding venue, yoga studio, and additional facilities are available for rent- please inquire for more information. We have three other guest houses on ranch so be sure to check out our other listings! The ranch is owned by a nonprofit Land Trust and is a wildlife sanctuary, your stay supports Texas land conservation and young farmers.

Brandi’s place was awesome! It was a great house in such a beautiful location. There are animals all around and at night there is even a star pad built on top of the hill where you can look at all the stars! I can say enough how great the house, location, communication, and anything else of how great our trip was! Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing stay at High Hope Ranch! Brandi was such a wonderful host and made everything so easy for us. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, it really felt like the perfect escape. The goat cave was such a unique and cool experience, and the property layout was perfect for our family. Our kids had the best time splashing in the cowboy pool and loved visiting with the goats and pigs. The highlight might have been Popeye, the coolest dog who never gets tired of playing fetch, our kids adored him! Don’t miss the farm store while you’re there, it’s such a fun bonus. We can’t wait to come back!!! Coolest place in Glen Rose!!

We had a great family getaway before school started. The house was exactly as pictured, the kids really enjoyed feeding the goats and pigs on the farm. My husband loved that the house has a sauna too! Brandi was very helpful and responsive. A little slice of paradise we would love to come back to you.

Great place to stay…., where else can you stay in the U.S and see a giraffe and other African animals from where you are staying. Neat place, quiet, yet close to everything, like the Creation Museum which is a must see.
